Truth? What is truth?
[Work in progress]
A guy killed himself today
strapped a bomb round his waist, said a prayer and left
he got a train to a city, caught a bus then walked
entered a building, looked around then pressed a button

in the name of God this is not holy
an eye for an eye isn't what they taught me
killing inocents for a cause isn't justified
brainwashing the gulable doesn't portray truth through lies

tho shall not kill
does not all religion teach us this
when war becomes religion not all good guys win
death is a certainty, murder doesn't have to be

a child died today
brought into the lies and blew himself away

20 children died yesterday
a presedent said yes, no-one even asked why

how many die tomorrow?
pray to God we need never know

they nuke a city, they get away
they start a war and get away
they run for global domination, single world currency
I say we as humans have the power to stop this hericy

yeah! am uplifting song
Shania Twain - C'est La Vie Lyrics

It must be Monday! What a dumb day!
Can't drag my butt outta bed
Somebody stop me--I need another coffee
Like a hole in my head

When everyday begins this way
Gets you down and can drive you mad
The daily grind can freak your mind
But life isn't all that bad

[Chorus:]
Don't let it get to you
C'est la vie! That's life,
and that's how it's gonna be
C'est la vie! Hold tight,
it comes right eventually. Oh--ho--

If only I could sleep in--
and wake up on the weekend
Oh, what a dream that would be, yeah
But fat chance for that one--
it ain't gonna happen
Better get back to reality

I could be a slob or keep my job
That is the choice we have
The daily grind can freak your mind
But life isn't all that bad

[Repeat Chorus]

Everybody's got to do it!
Everybody's got to earn their way
Uh, come on now
You gotta work your own way through it
Everybody's got their dues to pay
Yeah

The daily grind can freak your mind
But life isn't all that bad

[Repeat Chorus]

Yeah, yeah
C'est la vie! That's life, and that's
how it's gonna be
Uh, come on now
C'est la vie! Hold tight,
it comes right eventually. Oh--ho--

Prayer for England
In the name of
And by the power of
The holy spirit
May we invoke your
Intersession for
The children of england
Some of whom have seen
Murder so obscene
Some of whom have been taken

Let not another child be slain
Let not another search be made in vain

Jah forgive us
For forgetting
Jah help us
We need more loving
See the teachers
Are representing you
So badly
That not many can see you

Let not another child be slain
Let not another search be made in vain

Jah calls the ones who’s
Beliefs kill children too
Feel the love of you and be healed
And may we all cry too
For representing you
So badly so badly

Jah forgive us
For forgetting
Oh jah help us
To be forgiving
The teachers are representing you
So badly that not many can see you

Let not another child be slain
Let not another search be made in vain

Live 8
I really have been out of touch with the world lately. Not only did I NOT know that Live 8 was on on Saturday but I also DIDN'T know what Live 8 was about, I had assumed it was a type of concert and in it's 8th year.

I missed the entire live show as I was in Alton Towers and as mentioned above didn't know anything about it. However one of my best friends managed to record the entire event on his media centre and so we started watching it yesterday night, I have to say I was and still am totally aw-struck but the imence setup, the number of people involved, the short amount of time that everything was organised in and the realisation that 85% of the people in the world had the oppertunity to witness a remarkable event. It really was an event to bring the entire world together in an attempt to make people aware that a single man or a group of men really can make a difference, and that everyone can stand up for a right that we should all believe in.

I still remember Live Aid, I remember listening to my Dads LP over and over again and I still get a lump in my throat when I hear "Do they know it's Christmas time", and songs such as "Everybody Hurts" by REM and "Comfortably Numb" by the almighty Pink Floyd among with many others will hold a new meaning within many people's hearts.

Will the world listen and do what is right or has our humanity really got so frail that we will just sit by an listen but not hear? - these events remind us all that there is still some humanity out there, not everything is about greed or war or self preservation.

Sign the Live 8 list here if you haven't already done so.
